Leaf is a vegetarian restaurant located in Boulder, Colorado that offers vegan and gluten-free options as well. The location was great, not too far from the university and right in the chic part of town. The restaurant was clean, fresh and crisp. We found that the food was fresh but was fairly typical of vegetarian food, and most of the items on the menu had either egg, dairy or gluten, so you had to know what you wanted. They did know a bit about food sensitivities and were mindful of those. This would be a fabulous restaurant for someone who is trying to eat more healthy or making a transition to a healthier lifestyle. One complaint that we had was we ordered freshly squeezed orange juice and were given Tropicana. Once we notice this we asked the server, and she confirmed our suspicions. You don't go to a restaurant to pay five dollars to have a 12oz glass of Tropicana, you can get a whole family-size carton for that. Overall it was good to try out another restaurant and had a pleasant experience.
